Ways to Give

The Cardinal’s Annual Stewardship Appeal, a critical component of the archdiocesan mission, raises funds to sustain the various ministries, institutions, and outreach programs that serve thousands of individuals and families throughout New York.

Broaden the impact of your gift by considering our multiple ways to give:

Stock Donation

  • Donating stocks can maximize your impact while reducing capital gains tax.

Matching Gift

  • Boost your donation through employer matching programs, doubling or even tripling your impact.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs)

  • You can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from a Traditional IRA starting at age 70½, but the QCD will only count towards your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) once you reach the RMD age. The RMD age has been raised by the Secure Act 2.0 to age 73 for those born between 1951 and 1959, and to age 75 for those born in 1960 or later.

Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

  • Recommend grants to charities while enjoying tax benefits upfront.

Planned Gift

  • Leave a lasting legacy by including us in your will, life insurance policy, or charitable trust.
