Sts. Peter and Paul and Assumption Parish

Sts. Peter and Paul and Assumption Parish in Staten Island received essential funding for its food pantry program, which hosts a weekly soup kitchen and a monthly community meal in collaboration with the Staten Island Catholic Worker movement. The program, which is sustained by volunteers, helps hundreds of individuals and families, fulfilling Jesus’s commandment that we should serve Him by serving those in need.

I’m so glad I can get help from others that do not know me. Times are hard for me, but knowing that there is a Church that I can come to, and knowing there are people who care for others, is wonderful. – Parishioner
